Overview

GeoKit ("we", "us", "our") is operated by GLINR Studios. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the GeoKit CLI, GeoKit Cloud platform, and our website at geokit.dev (collectively, the "Service").

We believe in minimal data collection. The CLI is open-source and runs entirely on your machine. GeoKit Cloud collects only what's necessary to provide the service.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create a GeoKit Cloud account via GitHub OAuth, we receive your GitHub username, email address, and profile avatar. We do not access your repositories, code, or any private GitHub data.

Audit Data

When you run audits through GeoKit Cloud, we store the audit scores, rule results, and metadata (URL, timestamp, grade). We do not store the content of your website. Audit data is used solely to display your history and trends.

Usage Analytics

We collect anonymized usage analytics (page views, feature usage) to improve the service. We do not use third-party tracking scripts. No personally identifiable information is included in analytics data.

CLI Usage

The open-source CLI runs entirely on your local machine. It does not send any data to our servers unless you explicitly use the Cloud API integration.

2. How We Use Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage & Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Our infrastructure is hosted on secure, SOC 2-compliant cloud providers. Database backups are encrypted and retained for disaster recovery purposes.

We implement industry-standard security measures including access controls, audit logging, and regular security reviews.

4. Data Retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Audit history is retained according to your plan limits. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• GitHub OAuth — for authentication (GitHub's privacy policy applies)
• Stripe — for payment processing (Stripe's privacy policy applies)

These services only receive the minimum information necessary for their function.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:
